From the very beginning of my journey, I’ve been driven by creativity and a deep curiosity about how people think, connect, and grow. I started my academic path studying business administration with a concentration in marketing, but I soon realized I didn’t just want to understand what makes a business thrive, I wanted to explore how and why people engage with brands on a deeper level. That realization led me to pursue a degree in multidisciplinary studies, combining business and psychology. My goal was to offer clients not only strategy, but insight; not just design, but intention and depth.

I began as a YouTuber, sharing my voice and vision through content creation. What started as a passion project became the foundation for my career. Behind the camera, I developed skills in storytelling, editing, branding, and audience engagement; skills that seamlessly transitioned into public speaking, social media marketing, and high-touch client work. When I launched my creative agency, it was with the belief that entrepreneurship could be a tool for both personal expression and generational impact. I leaned on my certification in Design Thinking from Prairie View A&M University to craft intuitive systems and frameworks that supported women entrepreneurs in building profitable, purpose-driven brands.

Through every pivot and expansion, one thing has remained constant: I’m a creative at heart who loves building systems that help people thrive. Whether I’m designing a brand identity, leading a content strategy, or mapping out a launch, I bring both structure and soul to everything I do. My mission has always been to empower women to lead with clarity, confidence, and creativity, and that mission continues to guide every step forward.

2021

The year I did this

I officially launched my creative agency Journei & Co. with a focus on empowering women entrepreneurs through project management and professional branding services. I used the design thinking certification I earned from Prairie View A&M University as the foundational framework for how we approached creative problem-solving, client onboarding, and brand development. These signature offerings allowed me to support a dynamic roster of 7–10 clients at any given time, including three in-house brands: a celebrity hairstylist, a feminine boutique owner, and a high-profile attorney. This year laid the foundation for what would become a full-scale agency, positioning our clients with elevated brand identities, strategic planning, and streamlined operations.

2022

The year I did this

By 2022, our work had expanded beyond branding into full-scale visibility and media strategy. I secured press opportunities for my clients including magazine features, online and print interviews, radio appearances, and even TV segments. Recognizing the need for consistent digital presence, I added social media management to our service suite, offering done-for-you strategies that helped clients stay relevant and engaged online. I also deepened my expertise by becoming certified in Women’s Entrepreneurship through Cornell University, further aligning my work with my mission to support and elevate women-led businesses. Collectively, the businesses in our ecosystem surpassed $300K+ in annual revenue—proof of the power of intentional branding and visibility.

2023

The year I did this

In 2023, we leveled up. My agency began producing full-scale creative campaigns including high-quality photoshoots, video productions, and editorial spreads that told compelling brand stories. We facilitated brand collaborations, managed paid marketing campaigns, and led successful new collection launches. These full-service activations gave our clients the content, confidence, and clarity to show up professionally and profitably—solidifying our role as not just a creative partner, but a business growth partner.
